We have lift off!
Not really. But we do have bedroom curtains now...
We started putting up the curtain rail either last week or the week before, but didn't use the hammer action on the drill, so we couldn't get the holes deep enough. Today we tried the hammer action and it worked just fine :) It was rather noisy though. Thinking about it now, we do have earplugs, but instead I offered Matthew these: ;)

Ha ha, great! That actually reminds me of my favourite library anecdote of last week, when a kid asked my colleague for a pair of 'earmuffs' so he could listen to music on the computer.
Also, I KNOW I owe you an email and a Christmas card and stuff, and I am a bad friend etc. I'll be in touch very, very soon. xxx
